Previously I worked as a teacher, teaching children with special needs for 15 years. Although I loved my job as a teacher, my real passion was nails.
One of my big dreams came true in 2006 when I qualified as a nail technician. Unique and quality work was always important to me. I loved acrylics and working with them.
I try to give all my clients unique designs. It is a big inspiration to do nails for special occasions or outfits. I have been the owner of Krisztina nails & Art Academy since 2008. During this couple of years more than 200 nail technicians qualified with a master degree in our academy. And more than 4000 students learned from me in the past 16 years.
Under my 17 years of experience, I have created a nail shape (KKSP-Krisztina Kalmár Stiletto-Pipe), and many painting techniques, but the most famous is the "Realistic Gel Paint". People mostly want me to paint those flowers.
I love my job and I love teaching. But nowadays, I feel I have to do some salon work. So if you want to be my client, I have very limited places, but I open this possibility for some ladies. Although my main job is teaching and leading our company (and many more things to do), to tell you the truth, I miss doing nails.
