My name is Krisztina Kalmar,

previously I worked as a teacher, teaching children with special needs for 15 years. Although I loved my job as a teacher, my real passion was nails.

One of my big dreams came true on 2006 when I qualified as a nail technician Unique and quality work was always important to me. I love acrylics and working with them.

I try to give all my clients unique designs. It is a big inspiration to do nails for special occasions or outfits. I have been the owner of Krisztina nails & Art Academy since 2008. During this couple of years more than 50 nail technicians qualified with a master degree in our academy. I was teaching more than 4000 nail designers all around the world. I had students from all Europe, even from India, to New Zealand, Dominican Republic, Mauritius or Reunion Island.

I love my job and I love teaching. But that is not all! Together with my partner - Pierre Pachl - we created our own product line. He was helping to find the best product collection as a good support for all nail designers. Pierre is also a talented artist, media designer and photographer, thanks to him, we have awesome product designs, a nice webshop, awesome certificates, product labels, books and video training.

This website is made for you, to bring you closer to our little family-business. Family, because my sister is also a part of this team. Her name is Gyöngyi Kalmár, and she is a very talented nail designer and trainer, also doing awesome polymer clay gifts. We started to practice polymer clay in the beginning of 2020 and nowadays we can say, we both developed a lot, making many-many orders, in many themes. We know, the way is still long, we can develop even more, but all that you can get from us is made with our heart, passion and professionalism.
